About Your New Employer

Working for one of the biggest and busiest Sporting Event companies in Ireland who are Irish owned and over 100 years old.  They employ over 500 people and have numerous restaurants, bars and onsite venues. 

Due to success and expansion, they are now looking to recruit an Operations Manager to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective day-to-day operations at Sporting Events where there are numerous Restaurants, Bars, Private Rooms, Car Parks and onsite venues.   You will deliver exceptional sporting event experiences and contributes to strategic objectives, financial targets, and ongoing improvements.  Office based in Dublin.

 

 About your new Operations Manager job   

  • Oversee daily operations to deliver high-quality events
  • Plan, coordinate, and review all sporting activities and logistics.
  • Manage facilities, staffing, contractors, and third-party providers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and high service standards.
  • Lead and develop the Operations Team, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.
  • Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, tenants, and partners.
  • Champion a strong safety and risk management culture.
  • Ensure operational compliance with legislation, HRI policies, and industry standards.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
  • Manage operational budgets effectively.

 

   What Skills You Need for this Operations Manager Job

  • 4+ years’ management experience in operations, events, hospitality, or related fields.
  • Experience managing complex operations with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong team leadership and people management.
  • Solid knowledge of health & safety. A Qualification in Health & Safety is a strong advantage. 
  • Budget and financial management experience.
  • Calm under pressure; flexible and adaptable with excellent communication skills.

 

What’s on Offer

This role comes with a salary of circa 75-85k doe plus Benefits.
