About Your New Job
Are you a Newly Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant with experience working in an accountancy practice or public practice environment? You will:
- Work directly with Partners and experienced accountants providing accountancy, tax, and advisory services to SME, Agri, and family business clients.
- Manage financial accounts, tax computations, and statutory filings for a varied client portfolio.
- Build strong client relationships and play a proactive role in supporting business and client growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare financial accounts and tax computations for companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
- Prepare statutory accounts in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Generate VAT reports, conduct bank reconciliations, and provide effective solutions to client queries.
- Support clients with audit, tax compliance, and business advisory needs.
What Skills You Need
To be considered for this accountancy practice role, you should:
- Be a recently qualified or part qualified accountant (CPA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent).
- Have at least 1 year of experience in an accounting firm, practice, or accountancy office.
- Demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client assignments.
- Possess strong client management, communication, and organisational skills.
- Be committed to developing your career in practice, learning new skills, and delivering exceptional service to clients.
