This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Foreman looking to step into a key leadership role on site, working closely with senior management and playing a critical part in successful project delivery.
About Your New Role
As a Mechanical Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day mechanical installation works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and coordinating mechanical trades teams on site
- Leading installation of HVAC systems, pipework, plant rooms, and general mechanical services
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and safety standards
- Coordinating with site managers, engineers, and other trades to maintain programme timelines
- Managing materials, tools, and labour allocation on site
- Monitoring quality of installation and ensuring compliance with project requirements
- Supporting testing, commissioning, and handover processes
- Resolving on-site issues and providing practical solutions to keep works progressing
- Enforcing health & safety standards and promoting best practice on site
- Assisting with progress reporting and daily site updates
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Trade background in mechanical services (plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC, etc.)
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Foreman / Lead Tradesperson on construction projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installation and systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience working on large-scale construction or fit-out projects
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations on site
- Good leadership and team coordination skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and programme schedules
- Excellent communication skills when dealing with site teams and management
