About Your New Job
- As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you will set up, install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance on a shift rotation (6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm).
- You will provide day-to-day engineering services in a busy, high-speed manufacturing environment, delivering high-quality maintenance support to production.
- Your role requires multitasking, troubleshooting urgent issues, ensuring safety standards, maintaining documentation, and occasionally participating in an on-call rota (1 in 5 weeks).
- You may be assigned additional related duties as required, in a dynamic and supportive factory environment.
What Skills You Need
- Mechanical Fitter trade qualification.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, ideally within manufacturing.
- Proven multitasking and problem-solving abilities, with experience troubleshooting and repairing machinery.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and teamwork aptitude.
- Flexibility and willingness to take on varied assignments.
