About Your New Job
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be an essential member of the production team, driving continuous improvements and ensuring efficient, high-quality manufacturing processes.
As a Manufacturing Technician your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Operating, maintaining, and setting up production equipment in a cleanroom environment.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical and equipment-related issues.
- Supporting process development, validation, and verification activities for new and existing products.
- Maintaining accurate technical documentation in compliance with GMP and quality system requirements.
- Conducting in-process inspections, functional testing, and investigations of non-conformances.
- Providing technical support and training on processes and equipment.
- Collaborating with engineers, cross-functional teams, and external partners to achieve production goals.
- Leading or participating in root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve recurring issues.
- Supporting site safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with H&S standards.
What Skills You Need
- HETAC Level 6 (or higher) or third-level qualification in a technical discipline (120 credits).
- 2–5 years of experience in medical device, pharma, or similarly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience operating and maintaining production equipment.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, MDR, FDA, GMP, and quality management systems.
- Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills with systematic root cause analysis.
- Good documentation practices and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings and process diagrams.
- Team player with initiative, ownership, and autonomy.
