Manufacturing Engineer - Catheter Manufacturing

Permanent job available with a global medical device company based in Galway. 

About Your New Job as a Manufacturing Engineer:

  • Design and develop processes, materials, and technical solutions through a combination of internal development and external collaboration.
  • Ensure manufactured outputs meet defined standards for quality, cost efficiency, and delivery timelines.

  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional teams and external manufacturing partners to ensure system design, architecture, and verification/validation activities remain aligned with defined requirements while implementing process improvements.
  • Apply structured problem-solving methodologies and statistical tools to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Ensure manufactured outputs meet defined standards for quality, cost efficiency, and delivery timelines.

  • Provide technical direction and mentoring to engineers and technicians; may take responsibility for supervising or coordinating team members.

What Skills You Need:

  • Minimum two years of experience in a Manufacturing or Process Engineer role working with catheter manufacturing in the medical device industry.
  • Candidates without catheter experience will not be considered for this role.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members effectively.
