About Your New Job

As Head of Engineering, you will:

  • Lead the site engineering function (maintenance, utilities, calibration, facilities, projects, automation).
  • Develop and deliver engineering strategy in line with business priorities (compliance, safety, performance, growth).
  • Build and develop high-performing, collaborative, and accountable engineering teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement, digitalisation, cost efficiency, and site sustainability initiatives.
  • Oversee all CAPEX projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and regulatory compliance.

What Skills You Need

  • Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • 10+ years’ experience in senior engineering leadership within a GMP or strictly regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory expectations (GMP, HPRA/FDA or similar).
  • Demonstrated delivery of maintenance strategy, reliability improvements, and capital projects.
  • Strategic thinking, strong people leadership, and stakeholder management.

Desirable:

  • Master’s degree / Chartered Engineer.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, digitalisation or automation exposure.
