About Your New Employer

Working for an Irish owned wholesaler who are over 50 years old.  They supply food, beverages, tableware, takeaway packaging and cleaning supplies into hotels, restaurants, cafes and nursing homes throughout Ireland. 

Due to success and expansion, they are looking to recruit a Hygiene Auditor to join their Sales Team.

 

About your Hygiene Auditor job :

  • Visiting bars, restaurants and cafes to conduct on-site hygiene audits to assess cleaning practices, product usage, compliance standards and documentation processes
  • Evaluating existing hygiene systems, identify gaps and risks then recommending best practice solutions and creating structured improvement plans
  • Liasing with the Sales team to transition audit findings into product and service sales
  • Reviewing cleaning products currently in use and assess suitability, effectiveness, and cost-efficiency and recommending products
  • Inspecting hygiene-critical areas for compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Reviewing  documentation and record-keeping processes related to cleaning schedules and verification logs.
  • Responsible for audit reports and handovers to the Sales Team
  • Relationship building and client management

 

What Skills You Need

  • HACCP Cert or equivalent
  • Experience in hygiene auditing, environmental health or food safety
  • Experience gained in Sales selling into Food Services
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and sanitation systems
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks within food services
  • Experience conducting site inspections and producing formal reports.
  • Full clean Driving Licence

 

What’s on Offer

This role comes with a salary of circa €50-65k doe plus bonus plus benefits
