HR Business Partner, Employee Relations (4-Month Contract)

About Your New Employer

Our client is a leading global technology business with headquarters in Dublin city centre.  They are seeking to a high-impact, specialist Employee Relations (ER) team member to manage complex cases across multiple global offices.   

About Your New Job

  • As an HR Business Partner with a focus on Employee Relations, you will manage the most sensitive workplace investigations, often involving high-impact and confidential allegations.
  • You will handle a small portfolio of active cases (c. 5 at a time), prioritising quality, depth, and impartiality in your investigations.
  • You will engage directly with complainants and stakeholders, gathering information, conducting interviews, and documenting findings to produce well-reasoned reports for leadership.
  • You will coach and guide local HR teams on best practices for lower-tier ER cases and partner with senior management as a trusted advisor on risk and findings.
  • You will contribute to continuous improvement projects, support reporting and data analysis, and help shape ER policies and tools.

 

What Skills You Need

  • Significant experience as an Employee Relations specialist, with a focus on complex/high-risk investigations.
  • Proven background handling cases involving harassment, bullying, and retaliation, ideally across multiple countries or regions.
  • Strong investigative, interviewing, and fact-finding skills in confidential environments.
  • Outstanding written communication with the ability to craft clear, robust investigation reports.
  • Sound analytical and critical thinking skills, high discretion, and the ability to build trust at every level.
  • Experience with global organisations and established ER systems is desirable, but not essential.
