About Your New Job
- Serve as the main HR contact for managers and staff, ensuring a positive, reliable employee experience.
- Advise on company procedures and employment law, and support leaders through complex topics, including performance management and dispute resolution.
- Guide and coordinate the onboarding, probation, and exit processes, assisting with documentation and timelines.
- Deliver HR support across a range of business locations, making certain all actions comply with legal and organisational guidelines.
- Attend team meetings, maintain accurate records, and proactively follow up on agreed actions.
- Play a part in shaping and rolling out learning programmes designed to enhance management skills.
- Continually update and review HR policies to ensure compliance with the latest developments.
- Engage in cross-functional initiatives aimed at streamlining HR processes and driving improvements.
- Cooperate with departments like Finance, Safety, and IT to provide comprehensive support to all employees.
- Administer accurate employee records, manage HR system data, and handle confidential documentation.
- There is no public transport access to this organisation so your own transport is essential.
What Skills You Need
- Recognised HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent preferred), with a sound knowledge of Irish labour law.
- 2-3 years’ experience as an HR Generalist, including hands-on work in employee relations.
- A solid grasp of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email).
- Attentive to detail, with robust compliance and organisational skills.
- Self-directed, with the ability to effectively organise and prioritise multiple responsibilities.
- Skilled communicator with professional verbal and written abilities.
- A collaborative team player who is eager to share expertise and help others.
- Flexible, resilient, and comfortable travelling between company sites when required.
