My client is a global engineering and infrastructure organisation who are based in Dublin 22.  They are seeking a HR Generalist to join their Team based in HQ.  The organisation has a culture of support, inclusion, growth, innovation and change.  The successful person in this process will be given the opportunity to manage their own work, work as part of an established team and be give opportunities to develop their expertise by working on various projects.

 

About Your New Job

  • Key point of contact for employment-related questions from both managers and team members, ensuring a supportive and consistent employee experience.
  • Provide guidance on internal policies and employment legislation, assisting leaders with complex matters such as conflict resolution, performance conversations, and absence handling.
  • Support leaders throughout the onboarding, probation, and offboarding processes, helping to schedule and document key review sessions.
  • Offer HR guidance across all business locations, ensuring alignment with local legal requirements and internal standards.
  • Participate in meetings as needed, maintaining thorough records and following up on important action points.
  • Contribute to designing and delivering learning initiatives for line managers, boosting leadership capability.
  • Regularly review and refine workplace policies, ensuring compliance with emerging trends and new regulations.
  • Take an active role in cross-team projects and contribute to continuous process improvements.
  • Collaborate with related departments, such as Finance, Safety, and IT, to support holistic people solutions.
  • Oversee administrative tasks related to employee records, system updates, and document management.

 

What You Bring

  • Completed HR qualification (CIPD or comparable desirable) with experience in Irish Employment law.
  • 2-3 years experience as a HR Generalist working with Employee Relations cases
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong approach to compliance and record-keeping.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and adept at managing a varied workload.
  • Clear, professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Collaborative attitude, willing to pitch in and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Flexible and resilient in a fast-changing environment, and comfortable travelling to different sites if required.
  • The office is inaccessible by public transport so own transport is essential.
