Health & Safety Support - 12 month contract - North Dublin - due to location, transport is required.

About Your New Job as an EHS Administrator, you will:

  • Coordinate and document fire drills, evacuation procedures, and fire safety training across multiple premises.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of fire safety checks, testing, and fire risk assessments.
  • Support the Health and Safety team in tracking compliance, following up on audit findings, and disseminating safety information and guidance.
  • Assist in the recording, monitoring, and maintenance of all health and safety incidents, near misses, and hazards using electronic systems, and generate reports to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support, including meeting coordination, minute-taking, filing, and management reporting.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture and act as a point of contact for staff queries regarding compliance.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 45001 and ISO 45003 management systems and assist with the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.

What Skills You Need

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent; relevant third-level qualification (QQI Level 6 or higher in Health and Safety or related discipline) desirable.
  • Recognised health and safety qualification (e.g. IOSH Managing Safely) desirable; candidates working towards NEBOSH National General Certificate will be favourably considered.
  • Proven administrative experience within a large, multidisciplinary or public sector organisation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high attention to detail, and accuracy in record management.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Willingness and ability to complete the Fire Trainer Programme within an agreed timeframe, or hold an equivalent recognised Fire Safety Trainer / Fire Warden qualification.
  • FETAC level 6 "Train the Trainer" qualification desirable.
  • Full clean manual driving licence essential
  • Proven discretion and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
