Health & Safety Advisor

Established over 75 years ago, the business has continued to grow through strong client relationships, trusted subcontractor partnerships and an experienced leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Health & Safety advice and support to project and operational teams.
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of the Group Safety Management System.
- Ensure risk assessments and safety procedures are effectively managed and communicated.
- Monitor areas including lifting operations, temporary works, inductions, fire safety and emergency procedures.
- Support accident and incident investigations and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
- Participate in Health & Safety committees and training initiatives.
- Identify risks to employees, contractors and third parties and ensure suitable controls are in place.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and industry best practice.
- Develop strong working relationships with Directors, Project Managers and site teams.
- Report on Health & Safety performance and contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's safety culture.
Requirements
- Relevant degree/diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (minimum level 7)
- Full Drivers License
- 2+ years' construction Health & Safety experience.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and construction practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
