About Your New Job

  • As the EHS Advisor, you will maintain and implement the site’s EHS system in line with legal, corporate, and ISO standards, promoting a culture of safety awareness at all levels.
  • You’ll carry out risk assessments, lead safety inductions, deliver toolbox talks, and drive EHS training initiatives.
  • Perform regular site inspections and audits, incident investigations, and play an active role in EHS improvement projects and ISO 14001 participation.
  • Support day-to-day EHS guidance for all departments, including environmental compliance, ergonomic assessments (DSE etc.), and contractor management.
  • Directly supervise a team and collaborate with the Site Safety Officer, championing approachable, proactive engagement with staff to maintain a positive safety culture.

What Skills You Need

  • Minimum of 1 year’s hands-on experience in a health and safety role (manufacturing background preferred, but not essential).
  • Level 7 or 8 EHS qualification preferred—or equivalent hands-on experience and willingness to continue EHS education (e.g., through distance/evening courses).
  • Solid knowledge of Irish EHS Regulations and ISO Standards (ISO 45001 & 14001 desirable).
  • Strong teamworking, communication, and organisational skills; ability to engage floor staff and champion continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing workplace inductions, risk assessments, audits, and EHS training programs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
