About Your New Employer

  • Our client is a leading Fire Protection company in Dublin 12, renowned for its expertise in safeguarding people and property across Ireland.  Due to expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor on a permanent basis.  This position will be approx. 50/50 office / on the road.

About Your New Job

  • As the Health & Safety Advisor, you will oversee and enhance Health & Safety compliance across multiple sites in Dublin and throughout Ireland.
  • You will maintain and improve Health & Safety policies and procedures, ensuring best practice and legal compliance.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for ongoing and new projects.
  • Liaise with contractors, attend site meetings, and act as the key point of contact for Health & Safety matters.
  • Investigate incidents, produce detailed reports, and deliver toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety.
  • Ensure all activities comply with current Irish Health & Safety legislation.

What Skills You Need

  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within construction, engineering, or fire protection environments.
  • Strong background in liaising with contractors and managing site-based Health & Safety.
  • Relevant Health & Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent).
  • Full clean driving licence and access to your own car (mileage allowance provided).
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills.
