Our client is a global leader in real estate, facilities management and workplace solutions, working with some of the world's largest organisations.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Head of Projects to lead and grow their projects function across Ireland.
About Your New Role
This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for project delivery, P&L, team leadership and business development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop a team of Project Managers.
- Oversee the safe, timely and profitable delivery of projects.
- Take responsibility for P&L, budgets and project margins.
- Develop a pipeline of new project opportunities.
- Lead bids, tenders and proposals and help secure new business.
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Manage project risk, commercial performance and compliance.
- Recruit, develop and retain a high-performing project team.
Projects
The role will cover a variety of commercial, workplace, and facilities projects, including:
- Office fit-outs and refurbishments
- M&E upgrades and installations
- Building and infrastructure upgrades
- Critical environment projects
- Energy and sustainability projects
- Facilities and lifecycle projects
- Capital works programmes
What You Will Need
- Strong project management experience within, FM, construction or critical environments.
- Experience leading and developing Project Managers.
- Strong commercial/financial experience, ideally including P&L responsibility.
- Proven experience winning new business and managing bids/tenders.
- Excellent client management, negotiation and communication skills.
- Relevant technical/project management qualifications are advantageous.
