About Your New Job

  • As the Head of Plant & Animal Husbandry, you will join the senior management team and report directly to the CEO.
  • You will be responsible for setting and delivering the strategic vision for plant and animal husbandry across ROI & UK, focusing on business development, profitability, and sustainable growth.
  • You’ll lead business planning—setting annual budgets, developing new customer and sales channels, and ensuring company objectives are met.
  • Work closely with Area Managers, Marketing, and Technical teams to drive innovation, execute marketing plans, identify new product opportunities, and support customers with credible technical expertise.
  • You will engage as a major contributor to the innovation team and play a key role in building commercial relationships, negotiating, and representing the company.

What Skills You Need

  • Minimum 5 years’ senior commercial experience within the veterinary and agricultural sectors.
  • Proven track record of building businesses in dynamic and challenging environments.
  • Business degree essential.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills (Microsoft Office proficiency required).
  • Licensed driver.
  • Professional Advisor (PA) compliance is required; training provided if not currently held.
