About Your New Job
- As the Head of Plant & Animal Husbandry, you will join the senior management team and report directly to the CEO.
- You will be responsible for setting and delivering the strategic vision for plant and animal husbandry across ROI & UK, focusing on business development, profitability, and sustainable growth.
- You’ll lead business planning—setting annual budgets, developing new customer and sales channels, and ensuring company objectives are met.
- Work closely with Area Managers, Marketing, and Technical teams to drive innovation, execute marketing plans, identify new product opportunities, and support customers with credible technical expertise.
- You will engage as a major contributor to the innovation team and play a key role in building commercial relationships, negotiating, and representing the company.
What Skills You Need
- Minimum 5 years’ senior commercial experience within the veterinary and agricultural sectors.
- Proven track record of building businesses in dynamic and challenging environments.
- Business degree essential.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills (Microsoft Office proficiency required).
- Licensed driver.
- Professional Advisor (PA) compliance is required; training provided if not currently held.
