Forklift Driver (Evening/Night Shift)

The Work
This is a full-time evening/night shift role, working Monday to Friday from 5pm to 2am. You will play a key part in ensuring freight is handled safely, accurately and efficiently, while providing basic administrative support to our transport team. Training in forklift driving can be provided for this role.
- Safely load and unload freight from trucks using a forklift and PPT (Powered Pallet Truck).
- Handle, move and store goods in line with company procedures and safety standards.
- Monitor freight movements to ensure accuracy of shipments and documentation.
- Carry out general warehouse tasks, including sorting, scanning and preparing goods.
- Use computer systems to support transport administration, such as updating records and tracking freight.
- Work closely with the transport and warehouse teams to coordinate nightly operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment throughout your shift.
The Person
The ideal candidate is an experienced forklift operator who enjoys working in a busy warehouse environment and is comfortable using computers to support daily tasks.
- Essential: Valid forklift licence with proven forklift operating experience.
- Essential: Fluent English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is an advantage.
- Confident using basic computer systems for data entry and administrative tasks.
- Self-motivated, flexible and reliable, with the ability to work Night Shifts.
- Strong organisational skills and proven attention to detail.
- Team-oriented, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues across the warehouse and transport functions.
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
