The Work

As Finishing Foreman, you will take ownership of all finishing activities on site, ensuring that each project is completed to an exceptional standard and ready for successful handover.

  • Coordinate and supervise all finishing trades on site to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Monitor workmanship and quality, ensuring all finishes meet project specifications and company standards.
  • Lead and manage snagging and de-snagging processes through to final handover.
  • Drive the finishing programme to meet agreed deadlines and milestones.
  • Liaise closely with Site Management, subcontractors, and clients to resolve issues and maintain progress.
  • Promote and uphold high standards of health and safety across all finishing activities.

The Person

The ideal candidate is an experienced Finishing Foreman who takes pride in quality, is highly organised, and can confidently lead finishing trades to deliver excellent results.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Finishing Foreman on construction projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of finishing trades and quality control procedures.
  • Proven track record managing snag lists, de-snagging, and final project handovers.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to drive programme delivery while maintaining high-quality standards on site.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to communicate clearly with site teams and clients.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
