About Your New Job as Financial Accountant

  • As the Financial Accountant, you will maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • You will prepare and review month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
  • You will analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal accounting policies.
  • You will prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • You will support internal and external audit processes.
  • You will assist with preparation and submission of tax filings, regulatory reporting, and ad-hoc analysis.
  • You will support process improvements and automation initiatives.

What Skills You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional qualification required (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
  • 1-2 years of post-qualification experience or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
