About Your New Job

  • As a Field & Service Engineer, you will be a key technical expert, based in Shannon, Co. Clare and working directly on customer sites across Ireland.
  • You'll be responsible for hands-on mechanical repair, overhaul, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical seals and rotating equipment.
  • Day-to-day, you'll manage workshop repairs in Shannon, maintain tooling and diagnostic equipment, and deliver on-site service to clients in sectors like Pharmaceuticals, Power Generation, and Process Industries.
  • You’ll provide vital technical support—including comprehensive failure analyses and customer training—while acting as a bridge between service delivery and the commercial team to identify opportunities and foster customer relationships.

What Skills You Need

  • Proven hands-on experience with mechanical seals, pumps, mixers, or similar rotating equipment in process industries.
  • Mechanical trade qualification OR degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel throughout Ireland.
  • Strong knowledge of QHSE standards and risk assessments in industrial environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present technical information.
  • Proficient in MS Office, reporting, and diagnostic software.
