Facilities & Maintenance Lead – Manufacturing | Westmeath
An established and forward-thinking manufacturing company is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Lead to take ownership of site facilities and drive continuous improvement across a busy, high-performing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role offering the opportunity to make a real impact across operations, sustainability, and site performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of all site facilities including buildings, utilities, and infrastructure
- Manage and deliver a planned preventive maintenance programme across all assets
- Lead and develop a small facilities and support team, driving performance and accountability
- Oversee contractors and service providers, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost control
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Monitor and optimise utilities, identifying opportunities for energy efficiency and cost savings
- Lead facilities-related projects including upgrades, refurbishments, and site improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities management within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong technical knowledge of building services, utilities, and maintenance systems
- Experience leading teams and managing external contractors
- Solid understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance standards
