An established manufacturing company in Co. Westmeath is looking to recruit an experienced EHS & Facilities Manager.

This is a broad leadership role covering health & safety, environmental management, energy and facilities, with a strong focus on developing safety culture and embedding EHS ownership across the wider operation. 

About Your New Job

As EHS & Facilities Manager, you will:

• Lead and continually improve the site's Health & Safety Management System in line with ISO 45001.
• Develop the site's EHS strategy, annual plan and continuous improvement activities.
• Coach managers and supervisors to strengthen safety ownership and risk management.
• Manage incident investigations, audits, corrective actions and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and improve ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 environmental and energy management systems.
• Drive improvements across waste, energy, environmental performance and sustainability.
• Oversee the management, maintenance and compliance of site facilities and infrastructure.
• Lead and develop the site's EHS and Facilities team.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and HR on site improvements and operational risk. 

What You Need

• Relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Facilities Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience managing ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 50001 within a manufacturing, industrial or regulated environment.
• Strong practical experience across risk assessment, incident investigation, audits and corrective actions.
• Previous team leadership experience with the ability to coach and influence managers and employees.
