About Your New Job as External Sales Representative
- As the External Sales Representative, you will cover the entire Republic of Ireland, managing and growing a base of existing customers.
- Your focus: 60/70% new business development - targeting housing refurbishment companies, builders merchants, housing developers, and anyone in the window and door hardware sector.
- You'll be responsible for identifying and pursuing new commercial opportunities, as well as providing first-class service to maximize growth from current accounts.
- You will take charge of expanding the company’s presence, working independently but with strong commercial support and an impressive product portfolio behind you.
What Skills You Need to be the External Sales Representative
- 3+ years of successful experience “on the road” in external sales, ideally selling door hardware, construction solutions, or in a technical sales engineer capacity.
- Book of industry contacts (preferably in the window/door hardware or related construction segments) ready to leverage from day one.
- Strong communicator with a proven track record of business development and performance against sales targets.
- Based anywhere in the Republic of Ireland - flexibility to travel extensively across the south.
- Experience with account management as well as new business acquisition.
- Full clean driving licence.

- Strong base salary: €48K-52K
- Uncapped commission: Realistic targets (€1-1.5m) and excellent potential, with an uncapped commission structure that scales based on margin.
