Our client is one of Ireland’s leading companies within critical infrastructure, looking for an external sales engineer to cover the northern counties of the republic of Ireland. The job is 50% account management and 50% new business development.
About Your New Job as an External Sales Engineer
- As External Sales Engineer covering the Northern counties of the Republic of Ireland, you will drive business development, focus on new account acquisition and build relationships with existing clients.
- You will interact with a wide variety of clients – from contractors, consultants to local authorities.
- You will be selling a broad range of products from water control valves, flow metres, pipeline fittings, pressure management solutions and many others. This role comes with an internal support team and training recourses.
What Skills You Need to be the External Sales Engineer
- Proven technical sales experience within construction, hardware or other similar industries.
- Comfortable with site visits, technical discussions and building strong relationships.
- A base technical understanding of different instrumentation and water products.
- A full drivers license.
