About Your New Job
- As the Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will perform planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance on a variety of production and facility equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
- You will support installation, commissioning, calibration, and validation of new and existing equipment while documenting all maintenance activities to regulatory standards.
- You will troubleshoot and repair AC/DC power systems, PLCs, servo drives, and pneumatic components, as well as identify, report, and resolve equipment issues.
- You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- You will provide technical support and training to other technicians, assist in maintaining inventory and spare parts, and proactively liaise with equipment suppliers for critical support.
What Skills You Need
- Working knowledge of PLCs, motor drives, pneumatic components, and a strong electromechanical aptitude with hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
- Adaptability, a continuous learning mindset, and excellent communication (written & verbal) skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and high standards.
- 3+ years’ industrial or manufacturing experience with an NFQ Level 6 degree or trades equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and strong skills in data analysis and report writing.
- Must be over 18 and eligible to work full time in Ireland.
