About Your New Job
- As an Equipment Engineer II, you will support the Design Assurance Lab by introducing new test methods and implementing associated test hardware and software.
- You will design, procure, develop, and validate lab equipment, fixtures, and tooling to meet evolving project needs.
- You will create basic scripts or software programs to automate test processes for improved efficiency.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring best practices for test methods and consistency in strategies across Operating Units and New Product Development projects.
- You will identify technology and equipment upgrades to drive ongoing lab improvements.
- You will lead and support root cause analysis for issues, driving problem-solving and ensuring corrective actions meet reliability and compliance requirements.
- You will coordinate with projects to complete Test Method Validation and support the broader team on deliverables and project activities.
What Skills You Need
- Minimum Level 8 Degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
- At least 2 years’ relevant industry experience (medical devices or other regulated sector preferred).
- Experience in equipment design, verification, and validation (IQ, OQ, etc.) within regulated industries is desirable.
- Familiarity with CAD is advantageous.
- Proven ability to resolve issues independently and support/mentor team members to instil best practices.
- Strong communication in English, high motivation, and enthusiasm.
- Good organizational, presentation, and project management skills are desirable.
