About Your New Job

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will support the delivery of electrical packages on large construction projects, working closely with project managers, design teams and clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and schedules to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Ensuring works are installed in line with project QA benchmarks and specifications
• Managing RFIs and assisting with technical design solutions where required
• Preparing and managing technical submittals for client approval
• Reviewing specialist supplier packages and ensuring specification compliance
• Supporting procurement schedules with the procurement team
• Using engineering software such as Dialux/Relux, Amtech Pro Design, Navisworks, BIM 360 or similar
• Assisting with BCAR inspections and monitoring sustainability requirements such as LEED/BREEAM


Key Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Services / Building Services Engineering
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within building services or construction
• Strong IT skills including AutoCAD, Navisworks and Microsoft Office
• Good understanding of Irish electrical, fire alarm and emergency lighting standards
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills


What’s On Offer

• Salary in the region of €75,000 – €80,000 depending on experience
