About Your New Job

  • Design and development of new medical products.
  • Product/process evaluation and associated record keeping.
  • Selection of raw materials, components, and suppliers.
  • Fabrication of prototypes and test products.
  • Communication with customers/Project Managers regarding project progression.
  • Resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Product and process continuous improvement activities.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
  • Adhere to company Health & Safety requirements.

What Skills You Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in a medical device environment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Motivated, self-starting with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and bring them to successful conclusions.
  • Knowledge of a high-end CAD system, ideally SolidWorks.
  • Hands-on approach to designing and fabrication.
  • Ability to work to strict international regulations regarding medical devices.
