About Your New Job
- Lead the design and development of new medical products, as well as oversee product/process evaluation and meticulous record-keeping.
- Selecting raw materials, components, and suppliers, and will fabricate prototypes and test products.
- Regular communication with customers and Project Managers is expected to ensure smooth project progression, and you will mentor colleagues as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities, assist with other assigned duties, and always adhere to Health & Safety standards.
What Skills You Need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related discipline (essential).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar engineering role (essential).
- Experience within the medical device sector is an advantage.
- Proficiency with high-end CAD systems, ideally Solidworks.
- Hands-on engineering approach; comfortable designing and fabricating solutions in compliance with international medical device regulations.
