Our client is a leading Data Centre Construction company delivering turnkey solutions to clients across Europe, with headquarters in Dublin. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the most trusted and well-established companies within the sector.
The company is currently delivering multiple large-scale turnkey data centre projects across Europe, representing over 500 MW of IT load in delivery. Due to continued project growth, they are seeking to appoint an experienced CSA Engineer to join their team, with the role based on-site in Finland.
About Your New Job
As CSA Engineer (Data Centres), you will support the delivery of Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) works across large-scale data centre construction projects. This role will be based on-site in Finland, working closely with the construction, quality, and engineering teams to ensure project delivery meets programme, quality, and safety standards.
You will be responsible for monitoring construction activities, reviewing drawings and specifications, and ensuring all works are installed in accordance with approved designs and project requirements. Working alongside subcontractors and internal project teams, you will track progress against the project schedule, coordinate site activities, and ensure all documentation is properly managed and submitted in line with project procedures.
You will also participate in site meetings, engineering reviews, coordination meetings, and project handover activities while supporting the quality assurance process and ensuring all snagging and close-out procedures are completed to the required standards.
What Skills You Need
As the CSA Engineer you will:
- Monitor and inspect CSA works on site, ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout construction.
- Work closely with the QA team to ensure completed works meet project benchmarks and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to track progress against the project schedule and resolve site issues.
- Review construction drawings with the design team and assist in resolving technical challenges.
- Manage site documentation including RFIs, technical submissions, reports, and coordination records.
What You Need to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working on large-scale construction projects
- Experience coordinating site activities and subcontractor works
- Experience managing construction documentation and technical submissions
- Previous data centre project experience is desirable
