Our client is a leading Data Centre Construction company delivering turnkey solutions to clients across Europe, with headquarters in Dublin. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the most trusted and well-established companies within the sector.
The company is currently delivering multiple large-scale turnkey data centre projects across Europe, representing over 500 MW of IT load in delivery. Due to continued project growth, they are seeking to appoint an experienced CSA Construction Manager to join their team, with the role based on-site in Finland.
About Your New Job
As CSA Construction Manager (Data Centres), you will take responsibility for managing and coordinating the Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) scope throughout the delivery of mission-critical data centre construction projects. This role will be based on-site in Finland, supporting the successful execution of CSA works across large-scale data centre developments in the region.
Working closely with the Project Manager, planning team, and design team, you will oversee site operations, subcontractor activities, and project scheduling to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will review client designs, identify discrepancies with local or international standards, and lead the resolution process while protecting the company’s commercial and contractual position.
You will coordinate procurement, design, engineering, and installation activities related to CSA works, ensuring all subcontractors and site teams have the necessary information to meet project milestones. In addition, you will manage quality assurance processes, chair weekly progress meetings with supply chain partners, and ensure all project documentation is properly maintained and prepared for final project close-out.
What Skills You Need
As the CSA Construction Manager you will:
- Manage and coordinate Civil, Structural, and Architectural work packages on large-scale data centre projects.
- Lead and support CSA supervisors, engineers, and package managers to successfully deliver project scope.
- Monitor site activities to ensure the highest standards of quality, health and safety, and environmental compliance.
- Oversee subcontractor activities, tracking progress against the project schedule and ensuring appropriate resource allocation.
- Coordinate closely with the project planning team, design team, and project managers to ensure construction activities align with programme milestones.
What You Need to Have
- Relevant Construction degree or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 7 years of experience on CSA construction sites
- Strong experience managing CSA work packages on large-scale projects
- Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing including look-ahead planning
- Experience managing construction teams and coordinating subcontractors
