About Your New Job

  • As the Corporate Tax Compliance Assistant Manager, you will manage a varied portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring the accurate preparation, filing, and review of corporation tax returns, tax provisions, and compliance reporting requirements.
  • You will provide expert advice on corporate tax planning, tax risk management, and the implications of tax legislation and changes in regulation.
  • You will review tax compliance deliverables for quality, engage directly with clients on complex tax issues, coordinate with international colleagues on cross-border tax compliance matters and correspond with tax authorities as needed.
  • You will be responsible for mentoring and developing junior tax staff, leading training sessions, enhancing tax processes through technology and transformation initiatives, and monitoring key compliance and performance metrics.

What Skills You Need

  • Chartered tax advisor qualification (CTA, CTC, or equivalent) and significant experience in tax compliance or corporate tax.
  • Demonstrated delivery of outstanding tax service to clients, with a track record in tax return preparation and review.
  • Strong technical, analytical, project management, and organisational skills within corporate tax.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team of tax professionals.
  • Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines and experience in guiding and supporting junior staff is highly valued.
