Based in Dublin and the Greater Dublin Area, you will have the opportunity to lead landmark projects that positively shape local communities and the built environment.

The Work

As Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of 3–5 live projects across Dublin and the Greater Dublin Area. These include high-rise residential developments typically valued between €20 million and €30 million, as well as public sector fit-out and refurbishment schemes.

You will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure all projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with quality and compliance standards while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting business growth.

  • Lead the successful delivery of multiple concurrent construction projects from pre-construction through to handover.
  • Provide clear leadership, direction, and support to Project Managers, Site Managers, and wider site teams.
  • Oversee and monitor project programmes, budgets, costs, and performance, proactively addressing risks and issues.
  • Ensure full compliance with contract terms, technical specifications, and internal company procedures.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, design teams, consultants, and key stakeholders.
  • Manage contractual matters including variations, claims, and commercial risks in collaboration with commercial teams.
  • Chair and participate in regular project review meetings, preparing progress reports for senior management.
  • Oversee procurement strategies, subcontractor selection, and performance management.
  • Champion best practice in health & safety, quality, and environmental management across all projects.
  • Contribute to tender reviews, pre-construction planning, and wider strategic business development initiatives.

The Person

The ideal candidate is an experienced construction professional with a strong track record delivering large-scale projects, particularly in the residential sector, who enjoys leading teams and influencing outcomes at a senior level.

  • Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • Typically 8–10+ years of experience within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in a Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager, or similar senior leadership role.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering large-scale residential projects, including multi-storey or high-rise developments.
  • Background in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commercial and contractual acumen, with experience managing variations, claims, and risk.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and client-facing abilities.
  • Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused, with strong planning and decision-making skills.
  • Adaptable and resilient, with a commitment to continuous learning, improvement, and professional development.
