About Your New Job

  • As a CNC Operator, you will program, set up, and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision medical devices, with a focus medical device  components.
  • You will optimise CNC programs and processes to maximise production efficiency without compromising quality.
  • You will work collaboratively with engineering teams on process development and the production of new and complex components.
  • You will work with advanced materials such as titanium and medical-grade alloys.
  • You will take ownership of projects, from prototype development through to batch production, ensuring production milestones and client satisfaction are achieved.
  • You will maintain high workshop standards and contribute to the overall efficiency and reliability of manufacturing operations.

What Skills You Need

  • 5 years’ experience in a CNC Operator role within a precision engineering environment.
  • Practical experience with Swiss-type sliding head lathes (e.g., Citizen, Star, Tornos).
  • CNC programming skills are desirable but not essential.
  • Secondary education (leaving certificate or equivalent) with a demonstrated aptitude for engineering.
