Cleaning Site Manager

Location: Limerick
Experience: 2+ years in a Cleaning Lead, Assistant Site Manager, Manager role
Reporting to: Senior Operations Manager

About the Company

Your new employer is the leading European provider of contamination control solutions for the pharma, biotech, medtech, and microelectronics sectors, offering cleanroom management, protective clothing, specialist cleaning, lab disinfection, and industry training. 

The Role

Manage daily operations at a major biopharmaceutical client site in Limerick. Ensure cleanroom standards, regulatory compliance (ISO/GMP), and effective client relationships. Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all cleanroom operations, ensuring delivery meets quality, safety, and financial targets.
  • Lead and motivate the on-site team, conducting recruitment, training, appraisals, and staff development.
  • Build and maintain strong client partnerships, proactively addressing issues and suggesting improvements.
  • Manage site budgets, payroll, and reporting, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Uphold site health and safety standards, conducting regular risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead or support ad-hoc projects as required.

Skills and Experience

  • 3–5 years’ site or operational management experience, ideally in pharmaceutical, biotech, cleanroom, or related environments.
  • Strong understanding of ISO standards, GMP, and regulatory compliance in controlled environments.
  • Essential: Demonstrated leadership with experience managing, developing, and motivating teams.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Capable of building and maintaining professional client relationships.
  • Experience with budget management, payroll, and KPI reporting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of safety, quality, and integrity.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional shifts or weekends as required.
