About Your New Job
- As a Civil Design Engineer, you will develop engineering designs from concept through to detailed stages, supporting both residential and infrastructure projects.
- You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, architects, and contractors to deliver innovative solutions in drainage, roads, utilities, and site development.
- You will manage multiple projects, ensuring technical delivery, quality, and coordination with all stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
What Skills You Need
- Degree qualified (Level 8) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years’ post-graduate experience in a Civil Engineering consultancy.
- Proven experience in civil design for residential and infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, SuDS, utilities, site development).
- Proficiency in civil engineering design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow, Site 3D).
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Experience in the Irish construction market is essential.
- Advantageous: Chartership with Engineers Ireland or ICE (or working towards), and previous work on commercial, education, or public infrastructure projects.
