About Your New Job
As the Business Development Manager, you will:
- Manage and develop sales strategies in line with company budgetary and margin requirements.
- Identify and activate new market opportunities that align with the brand’s profile and values.
- Develop creative promotional activities, including collaborative initiatives with retail partners.
- Maintain and grow long-term relationships with clients and supply chain partners.
- Deliver training sessions for third-party staff to empower them as brand ambassadors.
- Report clearly and regularly to the Board of Directors on sales performance, market opportunities, and business challenges.
- Collaborate as a key player in a dedicated team and focus on priorities, ensuring follow-up on all assigned tasks.
- Provide flexible support for business needs, including some weekend availability for quarterly meetings.
What Skills You Need
- Minimum of 3 years managerial experience in wholesale or retail apparel sector, preferably with a relevant third level qualification.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and IT skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships across clients and supply chain.
- Creative approach to promotional activities and collaboration with retail partners.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team-oriented attitude.
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel across Ireland and abroad.
- Flexibility and availability, including weekends for quarterly meetings.
- Capability to provide clear, concise reporting to senior management.
