About Your New Job

As an Audit and Accounts Senior, you will:

  • Lead audit and accounts projects, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accountants and audit trainees, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Engage directly with clients to collect and analyze financial information, conduct audits, attend stock takes, and support compliance across multiple sectors.
  • Prepare and present audit reports, financial projections, grant applications, and documentation for submission to Irish and UK regulatory bodies.
  • Assist with clients’ business planning, funding applications, and litigation support by preparing detailed reports and attending court or mediation hearings as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and government agencies, draft business correspondence, and provide research-based insights to inform decision-making.
  • Manage client relationships, provide exceptional service, and contribute to internal management reporting and various ad hoc projects.

What Skills You Need

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent) with strong technical knowledge in UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS, and auditing standards.
  • Tech-savvy and proactive, able to deliver high quality work in a fast-paced professional services environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland.
  • Motivated, innovative, and ready to immerse yourself in a supportive team culture.
