About Your New Job

As Audit & Accounts Manageryou will:

  • Manage and deliver top-quality audit and accountancy services to clients, ensuring engagement objectives and client expectations are consistently exceeded.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee excellent client experiences and foster ongoing client relationships.
  • Supervise and implement audit risk management procedures, including the comprehensive review of audit files, quality control, and compliance with professional standards.
  • Monitor and manage Work In Progress (WIP), analyzing and reporting on projects to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Play a key role in business development, attending networking events and driving growth opportunities in the audit and accountancy services space.
  • Provide leadership within the audit team, ensuring staff satisfaction, managing retention, and mentoring senior team members.
  • Oversee the billing process for your portfolio, support the achievement of revenue targets, and coordinate with the tax department on fee reviews.

What Skills You Need

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in audit, accounts, or related roles within a professional services or accountancy firm.
  • Recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit procedures, financial reporting standards, and compliance.
  • Proven track record in managing client relationships and delivering exceptional accountancy services.
  • Excellent communication, team leadership, and staff management skills.
  • Experience in business development and achieving financial targets within the audit/accountancy sector.
