About Your New Job

  • As a Senior / Associate Civil Engineer, you will lead multiple civil engineering projects from feasibility to completion.
  • You will provide technical leadership across the design of roads, drainage, water infrastructure, earthworks, and complex site developments.
  • You will manage project programmes, resources, budgets, and commercial performance, ensuring successful, timely project delivery.
  • You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, oversee compliance with Irish and local standards, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • You will mentor junior engineers, driving best practices, and participate in key client, contractor, and design meetings.

What Skills You Need

  • 8–10+ years’ experience in civil engineering consultancy.
  • Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership (Engineers Ireland or equivalent).
  • Strong experience delivering civil infrastructure projects and proven team leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish design standards (GDSDS, Irish Water Code of Practice, DMURS, DMRB, TII Publications, Cycle Design Manual).
  • Excellent commercial and client management capabilities.
  • Experience preparing contract documentation and working with Public Works Contracts.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Full driving licence desirable.
