Visual Merchandising manager West of Ireland Area

Our Client requires a full time Visual Merchandiser with flair and a real eye for detail to make our West of Ireland  stores, exciting and inviting places to shop. You will be based in our Galway store  store and work in our other stores in the West of Ireland  area as scheduled. You will be part of our Visual Merchandising team reporting to our National  Visual Merchandiser Manager. This very rewarding role involves merchandising according to seasonal themes. The role will involve working on your own initiative, continuously looking for alternative ways of creating an effect/atmosphere in the store, which will help our customers to make that purchasing decision through your displays.

Responsibilities 

Managing an area vm team
Working collaboratively with store managers and marketing teams

Implementing planograms
Report on sales and reasons for slow moving stock
Working on projects related to store rerfurbs and new store launches
Responsible for floor moves of old season and introduction of new season
Visiting stores in the region insuring that visual standards are maintained 




Skills and Qualifications

  • Furniture/ retail experience an advantage. 
  • Leadership experience managing a team of visual merchandisers.
  • Floor display experience essential.
  • Previous achievement of creative displays will be an advantage.
  • You will have strong organisational and excellent communication skills necessary to help our retail team work with your innovation.
  • You will be a team player, hardworking and conscientious with strong motivational skills.
  • Must have a full drivers license
