About Your New Job as an Area Sales Manager
- As a Regional Sales Executive, you will manage and grow regional sales across Dublin and the East Coast by engaging customers, building trusted client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.
- You will apply in-depth product knowledge to recommend the right solutions for customer needs, spanning high-quality roofing accessories and aluminium rainwater goods.
- You will spend around 4 days per week on the road, covering all sales areas (with no fixed routes), and split your focus between:
- Engaging with merchants (35%)
- Promoting aluminium rainwater products to contractors and end-users (35%)
- Handling pricing and administration tasks (30%)
- You will develop tailored sales plans, monitor market activity, and represent the business at industry events.
- The initial period includes no sales targets for the first 6 months, allowing you time to establish relationships and understand the market.
What Skills You Need as an Area Sales Manager
- 2+ years of experience in construction or building materials sales (ideally with roofing products)
- Proven ability to drive sales, manage your pipeline, and close deals
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with merchants, contractors, and installers
- Hands-on, practical approach and willingness to engage with customers onsite—including obtaining a Safe Pass, and wearing a hard hat and boots when needed
- Strong organizational skills, able to plan sales activity and keep accurate records using CRM tools
- Self-motivated, independent, and able to travel regionally (valid driver’s license required)
What’s on Offer
- Basic salary €50,000 – €55,000 plus bonus (€4,000 – €5,000)
- Additional €2,000 loyalty bonus after 6 months
