About Your New Job

  • Owner of L-PBF capabilities: Lead and manage the Laser-Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) capabilities.
  • Lead NPI projects: Oversee Additive Manufacturing specific New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
  • Health & Safety: Maintain the area to Health & Safety standards.
  • Production scheduling: Ensure machines are in working order through ongoing PM scheduling and dictate the production schedule to ensure building times meet business requirements.
  • Process development: Develop a roadmap for higher volume production process flow and validate new products and processes.
  • Team collaboration: Participate in team meetings, provide training for manufacturing team members, and interface with various departments to ensure timely delivery of quality products.

What Skills You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Engineering experience in medical devices.
  • Experience with Laser-Powder Bed Fusion.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5S.
  • Strong communication skills and business understanding of operations and NPI.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated effective work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Product Development, Quality Assurance, and other teams.
