About Your New Job as Accounts Administrator
- As an Accounts Administrator, you will process customer purchase orders, prepare and issue invoices, and keep accurate records of all transactions.
- You’ll reconcile accounts, send monthly statements, address customer queries, and identify discrepancies in data.
- You will be responsible for processing bank receipts, preparing cashflow reports, updating internal databases, and supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required.
What Skills You Need as Accounts Administrator
- Proven experience working as an Accounts Administrator or in a similar accounting/finance role.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and advanced Excel skills (financial formulas, spreadsheet management).
- Experience with accounting software (SAGE or similar), accurate data entry abilities, and excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
