Warehouse Controller

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Controller to join a busy operation in Bantry, Co. Cork.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring stock is received, stored and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day warehouse operation.
  • Receive, check and store incoming stock.
  • Pick and prepare orders for dispatch.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records.
  • Carry out regular stock checks and investigate discrepancies.
  • Coordinate goods in and goods out.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Complete warehouse paperwork and system updates.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure the smooth movement of stock.
  • Assist with stocktakes and general warehouse duties.
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse, stock control or logistics experience.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
  • Basic computer/IT skills.
  • Reliable and hardworking attitude.
  • Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team.
