About Your New Job
- Goods In:
- Unload delivery vehicles and ensure compliance of incoming goods against Purchase Orders.
- Satisfy back orders for incoming goods and enter stock into warehouse locations, ensuring good stock rotation.
- Goods Out:
- Pick orders from delivery dockets, pack, and ship via carriers.
- Schedule own van deliveries for a 2-week schedule.
- General:
- Ensure stock is kept in good order, maintain adequate stock levels, and report stock requirements to the Purchaser.
- Conduct annual stock takes and check delivery dates of backorders.
- Process delivery dockets from sales orders and ensure system stock data is corrected and updated.
- Assist the driver with deliveries and onsite assembly of goods as needed.
- Participate in all relevant process improvement projects.
What Skills You Need
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and stock management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
