About Your New Job

  • As the Transport Planner, you will be responsible for planning and optimising daily and weekly transport routes to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries across Ireland.
  • You will coordinate fleet scheduling, driver assignments, and vehicle availability, working closely with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers.
  • You will monitor delivery progress, address delays or issues in real time, and ensure compliance with Irish and EU transport legislation.
  • You will maintain accurate transport records and performance reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

What Skills You Need

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in transport planning or logistics coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish road networks and transport regulations.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in transport management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
