- Our client is seeking experienced candidates for the position of Traffic Wardens.
- This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the efficient functioning of traffic and parking in the County.
- A permanent position, with petrol allowance.
About Your New Job as a Traffic Warden
- Fairly and impartially enforce current Traffic and Parking Regulations in both off-street and on-street locations.
- Issue Fixed Charge Notices and penalties for any breaches.
- Patrol dedicated beats within the Council.
- Use Information Technology equipment including body cameras, personal computers, and portable printers upon receipt of appropriate training.
- Keep accurate records and photographic evidence of offences for Court proceedings and attend Court to give evidence when required.
- Be courteous in all dealings with the public, ensuring you represent the council fairly.
What Skills You Need as a Traffic Warden
- Main requirement: Full current category B Driving License and own vehicle available for use while performing duties.
- Experience in front-facing customer interaction, especially with the General Public.
- Ability to deal with high pressure, demand, and potentially difficult conversations.
- Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
What’s on Offer?
- Pay is €15.15 per hour with additional allowances. €31,512 per annum.
- Petrol allowance
- 5X Full-Time positions in Dublin (3x Swords, Dun Laoghaire, Tallaght): 40 hours per week, Monday - Saturday roster.
