About Your New Job

As the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations across three key departments: field service, installation and stainless steel fabrication.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will:

  • Lead and manage technical service, installation and fabrication teams, ensuring high standards of performance, productivity and customer service.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity with real autonomy and the chance to influence how the business operates and develops.

What Skills You Need

  • Proven experience in technical service management, field operations or a similar leadership position, ideally within HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical services, commercial catering equipment, facilities management or a related technical industry.
  • Experience managing technical teams, including scheduling, resource allocation, performance management and service delivery.
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage customers, contractors and internal teams.
  • A practical understanding of operational performance, service quality and cost control, with an interest in developing further financial and P&L responsibility.
  • A proactive leadership approach and the ambition to grow into a broader senior management position.

A relevant trade background or technical qualification would be advantageous. Previous experience in commercial catering equipment is beneficial but not essential.

  • A senior management opportunity offering genuine autonomy and direct access to the Managing Director.
  • A clear pathway for career development and progression into senior leadership.
